THE MEDITERRANEAN NICE BALLET 2015
On September 21 on the stage of Mikhailovsky Theatre took place the unique performance of the Mediterranean ballet of Nice (Ballet Nice Méditerranée). Dancers from Cote d'-Azur performed a programme of four choreographic works which opened the new ballet season at the Nice Opera House few days later.
Artistic director Eric Vu An has prepared the audience a vivid mixture of classical and modern ballet. "Rhapsody" on the music of Rachmaninoff was best remembered not only for the choreography, but also for dramatic lighting. "Adagietto" amazed by the great dance technique and the ballet "Trojan Games" included acrobatics.
