Incubatoredu
INCubatoredu gives students an opportunity to experiment with entrepreneurship, by creating their own startup. Students will be guided by a mentor or coach in each class to assist them in the projects they are working on, like washable foot inserts and social applications.
When teams of students progress through the curriculum students learn improve and develop their startup ideas by conducting customer and idea exploration as well as market research, prototype building, and pitching. This helps to develop cooperation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills as well as teaching students to adapt quickly to changes.
Each team competes to win funding during the INCubatoredu National Pitch, which takes place every year. This opportunity provides teams with an opportunity to network with investors and expert advice from business professionals - an event known for the shark tank-style pitching sessions.
